MIT-Haiti Symposium Concludes

After nearly two days of intense meetings, the MIT-Haiti Symposium concluded on Friday with a call to action.

Symposium organizer, Michel DeGraff, provides a brief summary:

Our Haitian colleagues, like us at MIT, do realize that the task ahead is daunting and will require extraordinary creativity and fortitude. Yet many of the Haiti participants believe that this MIT-Haiti initiative may well be the best chance they have, to date, to transform higher education in Haiti–in extraordinarily innovative ways that, just 2 days ago, were un-imaginable!

Heartfelt thanks to each and all of you–and looking forward to more collaboration ahead,
