Leadership and Team Workshop
Objectives
Why Leadership and Teams? Because if you are to participate in a larger campaign to have Haiti become an “Emergent Country,” you will need to be leaders of change. You will need the skills to understand the context, reach out to network with others, create a new vision for the future, and invent new ways of moving the country forward. This workshop will focus on these leadership skills. Next, we will want you to think deeply about what your role will be in this emerging future and how you will work with others to create synergies across your combined individual efforts. As such, a core focus will be on communication and collaboration across ministries and others (in the public and private sectors, civil society, universities, schools, etc.) who can help make change happen. We will provide some of the theory and tools to help you move in this direction.
This workshop is open to individuals and teams who want to make a large-scale difference in this domain. The three days will be spent learning some theory, practicing new skills, and getting to know other people engaged in this large-scale change. The overarching goal is to learn how best to mobilize yourself, your team, the ministries and other stakeholders in order to move ahead with a vision of change that can be successfully implemented.
