MIT is hosting an invitation-only symposium in late October to explore the advantages of OER & ICT in higher education. Participants will identify Haiti’s basic needs for OER and ICT and related current projects in Haiti. They will engage in concrete exercises in the use and importance of OER & ICT for curriculum development and reform, university administration, educational practice, the delivery of educational materials, partnerships on specific projects, etc.

a research project in social sciences. I am currently at the Brown University as conference visitor.
I would like to involve my school and my network in the reconstruction of Haiti. Let me get your
proposals and what you are plannning for rebuilding our country… I hope to meet you before
coming back to Haiti and to submit your an urgent program for educational practices and
prevention of cholera. But, we need materials for teaching creole language and promoting reading
